Dr. Kapil Ojha has charted a commendable 14-year medical journey since graduating from the Peninsula School of Medicine (Universities of Exeter and Plymouth). By 2016, having secured the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), he set forth as a GP in London and Wales.
Parallel to his medical endeavours, a passion for aviation culminated in him obtaining a private pilot licence in 2013 in Lakeland, Florida. His drive led him to the Aerospace Medicine programme at King's College in 2018.

Notably, he was the sole British civilian in two decades to achieve an MSc and DAvMed in this unique discipline. His research on in-flight medical incidents garnered significant attention and an award at the Aerospace Medical Association Conference in 2021. His expertise was subsequently acknowledged by his appointment as an Aviation Medical Officer with a major airline, and later, a role at the UK Civil Aviation Authority as a Medical Assessor and Specialty Registrar in Aviation and Space Medicine.
In early 2024, Dr Ojha obtained his Certificate of Completion in Training (CCT) from the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB), and is currently the only accredited Consultant in Aviation and Space Medicine who is a UK CAA and EASA AME.
In April 2025, Dr Ojha was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), a prestigious mark of distinction recognising his contributions as a Consultant in Aviation Medicine. This honour reflects his standing within the medical community and the impact of his work at the intersection of clinical excellence and aerospace health.
Having assessed nearly 4000 cases, Dr Ojha has a wealth of knowledge and expertise well-placed to help individuals navigate through their medical journey working in the aviation industry. Dr Ojha can also provide consultancy services to commercial operators, airport operators, and ground management companies with regards to aviation and occupational medicine issues.
